Are you looking for an industrial designer who focuses on people and engages with topics like society, politics, and inclusion? Then you've come to the right place!
User Experience - User Interface Design
Here, you will find a selection of my projects in User Experience and Interface Design. Whether webpage design, app design, or HMI design in the automotive industry, I have extensive experience with Human-Centered Design and the frontend design of innovative concepts for any problem.
Human Centered Design
My goal is to create user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing designs that are both functional and intuitive. Through a user-centered design process, I develop design solutions that not only meet all underlying usage requirements but also focus on the users. This results in a maximally positive customer experience with a significantly higher ROI. Starting with an intensive usage context analysis, I examine the specific questions of a problem, define use cases and user journeys, and iteratively develop logical and structured concepts. By considering the latest design principles, I combine functionality with the design guidelines of my corporate clients in my work. This ensures that the brand identity is preserved even with the implementation of innovative solutions. I am happy to help you realize your next project and turn your ideas into reality!
Understanding human behavior is really the only way to make effective designs.
Through intensive research, planning, and iteration, I strive to create user-centered designs.

Bachelor-Thesis - Development of an Exterior-HMI for autonomous Trucks - MAN Truck & Bus
Since I completed my bachelor thesis in collaboration with the HMI department of MAN Truck & Bus SE in the field of interface design, this work is subject to a confidentiality agreement. Therefore, my website provides an overview of the design process and the methodology applied, without details of the resulting content.
During my bachelor thesis, I was tasked with developing an exterior HMI for an autonomous truck in a port terminal. It was crucial to consider the various stakeholders in the terminal and their needs, as well as the driving processes and tasks of the autonomous truck, in the design. The result of the work is an HMI that consists of LED strips and OLED displays on the exterior surfaces of the truck, communicating its behavior to the surroundings through simple yet understandable signals.
UX/UI meets Product Design - MagicGlove
2nd Place of the Siemens Home Appliances Design Award
As part of the SIEMENS Home Appliances Design Award 2018, we were tasked with designing “household appliances of the future.” Four universities participated, each with six teams. Our idea: Magic Glove - the connected kitchen glove.
USE CASE
Nowhere else in the household do so many devices and tools come together as in the kitchen. This results in a high level of complexity.
When cooking, our hands interface with devices and ingredients. Using smart sensors, Magic Glove utilizes these touchpoints to automatically capture a wealth of information.
During my year in the Research & Development department at MAN, I gained valuable experience in User Experience, Interaction, and Interface Design. The methods, techniques, and skills I learned provide a solid foundation for my work as a designer in various industrial fields.
The smart kitchen glove "Magic Glove" helps reduce the complexity of the modern kitchen environment by extending the functionality of the hand as an optimal tool and intuitively and seamlessly integrating people into the device network.
By combining protective functions, intelligent sensors, and context-sensitive information, Magic Glove enables a completely new cooking experience, with the joy of cooking at its core.

FireMap
FireMap is an app for local populations in wildfire areas. It is linked to the latest hazard alerts from authorities and emergency apps like Katwarn and Nina, providing real-time information on the status and forecasts of wildfires. Users can enter important information for the fire department in their profiles, such as the number of people and animals on the property and information about explosive or hazardous materials. Volunteers can also identify themselves and indicate how they could help others in an emergency.
