The earplugs attenuate noise linearly, protecting the eardrum. Users can record specific frequencies in the app and add them digitally through the integrated hearing aid. The specific frequency can be finely adjusted, even distinguishing between high and low voice pitches. Users can block out a partner's snoring while still hearing a baby's cry. Factory workers are protected from machine noise but can still hear colleagues' warnings.
